Great Overnight Spot with Shade, Animals & Hospitality
We had a great stay! Dan and Carol were incredibly friendly and easy to talk to, which made the visit even more enjoyable.
The location is just a short hop off I-10 with easy access. This charming small town had a few dinner options — we ate at The Social and it was excellent.
The site itself is on a peaceful farm with chickens and donkeys roaming nearby. We parked in a mostly level field at the top of a hill under a large shade tree — a beautiful spot.
The approach includes a narrow dirt driveway; larger rigs might brush a few branches, and the entrance into the field is a bit sloped but manageable.
Overall, it felt more like a relaxed Boondockers Welcome stop than a typical Harvest Hosts location. Highly recommended!
